Pirates on the Panhandle, Inc. is a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Corporation as outlined by the State of Florida. Operating as a Social Club, we invite other like-minded folk to join our ranks as we get involved in the Navarre community by hosting charitable events. Our Club took over the Annual Navarre Beach Car, Bike & Truck Show in 2013 and added a Craft Fair, Food Venders and a live band. Two years ago we hosted the 19th Annual Car Show on the second weekend in October and it was the largest event ever with 144 vehicles participating. We were unable to host the Car Show in '20 due to the High School venue was NOT AVAILABLE due to COVID-19 restrictions; however, we did hold a Cruise-In and over 65 vehicles took part in it. Profits from this event goes into the Club's Charity account which will then be donated to other charitable organizations in our community (please note the list of those organizations that our Club has donated to below).
On January 1st 2018, the Club hosted the Inaugural New Year’s Day Pirate Plunge into the Gulf of Mexico with over 500 folks in attendance and raised over 8K to benefit the Weekend Food Program of Navarre. The 2nd Annual Pirate Plunge was a much bigger and better event again benefiting the Weekend Food Program of Navarre. The 3rd Annual Pirate Plunge benefited Food For Vets. Once again, last year's event was postponed due to COVID-19; however, plans are underway to host the 5th Pirate Plunge benefiting the Navarre Pregnancy Resource Center.
Since our beginnings in May of 2009, the Club has raised and donated well over $139,000 to the below listed organizations in need of financial assistance within the Navarre community. We welcome candidates to join our Little Band of Pirates to help assist in the planning and support the charitable and social events the Club does while enjoying some Grub & Grog with each other along the way.
Arrrrrrrrrrrrrr you ready to come on board and help us help others in our community that need our assistance? We are living proof that NOT all Pirates are bad!
Below you will find a list of the Organizations that the Pirates on the Panhandle have supported since we were formed May 1909.
