A quick look back on some of the fun things we did from years ago:
Once we organized as the Pirates on the Panhandle, Inc., in May of 2009, one of our first socials was on the Blackbeard Cruise Ship out of Destin Harbor. In 2010 our Club starting the New Year’s Day Penguin Plunge at Juana’s Pagoda and then in 2013 we took over the 13th Annual Navarre Beach Car Show from NABOR (Navarre Area Board of Realtors).
We have constantly made new friends and have done so many great things for other charities in our community that needed our help.

Since the beginning, the Pirates on the Panhandle Social Club have raised and donated well over $200,000 to other non-profit charities in the Navarre area. Because of our work in the community, the Navarre Beach Area Chamber of Commerce presented our Club with the “2016 SPIRIT OF NAVARRE AWARD” at their 41st Annual Banquet in January 2017.

Adopt-A-Highway
Pick-up It only took a couple hours to cover the little over 3 miles of State Road 87 from Hwy 98 up to East Bay Blvd. The Club's next pick-up will be in the Spring of '23 and again in the Fall of '23. November 8, 2019 a $1,000 check was presented to The Starfish Project (which will be matched) at the Greater Navarre Area Chamber of Commerce breakfast at the Navarre Conference Center.
On November 10, 2019 another check was given to Nic Hubbard, a Santa Rosa County Sheriff Deputy, recovering from cancer. Our Little Band of Pirates have now raised over 13K for Nic and his family to assist with medical costs.
