Once again the Pirates on the Panhandle are proud to host the 16th Annual Navarre Car, Truck & Bike Show and Craft Fair. The show brings in entrants from all over the North West Florida and Alabama areas, and is open to all types of vehicles from Street Rods, to Antiques, to Custom Cars, as well as Motorcycles and Trucks of all styles. Since it is an annual event, we have many folks that return year after year, so the show continues to grow, and with 37 categories and 5 "Best Of"; trophies, there are nearly 80 awards to be won. More than 100 vehicles are expected to attend again this year. Vehicles are professionally judged in 5 categories, with trophies awarded to both the first and second places, with Special Awards given to the Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Engine, Pirates (Peoples) Choice and of course, Best of Show.
This year we have added two new attractions.
The first is a Cruise-In at the Publix parking lot on Hwy 98 just West of Hwy 87, on Friday the 14th starting at 6:00pm. Food and drink specials will be available courtesy of Stripes Pub & Grill. We will also have live entertainment at the car show, provided by Swingtown, a Steve Miller tribute band.
Since last year’s Craft Fair was so successful we are happy to continue the tradition and add more family fun. This not only gives those who aren't that crazy about cars (hard to believe), something to do while the motor-heads pore over the displays, but also helps support local businesses. Again, we expect 30 vendors or more. All are welcome to be part of this popular annual event.
The show and craft fair is located at the Navarre High School so admission and parking is free to the public. Food vendors will be available, and a DJ will keep themusic and announcements flowing.
Vehicle registration is $25 for early registration, and $30 for the day of. Craft vendors Pay $30 for a 10X10 booth area.
Come out, enjoy the fun, and help the Pirates on the Panhandle with this worthwhile event.
Proceeds from last year’s Car Show were donated to 14 different charities totaling over $4,000, which brought the total donations to local charities from the Pirates on the Panhandle to over 50K since we started the Club in May of 2009. We know there are a lot of good events held here in Navarre; however, for the last 15 years, the Navarre Car Show has been a ‘fall staple’ and once again will be a big part of the Santa Rosa County’s Beaches to Woodlands promotion. We look forward to you being a part of this year’s Car Show and helping the Pirates on the Panhandle, Inc., a 501(c)3 Florida Corporation, continue to support charities in our community; together, we can truly making a BIG difference in the Navarre area.
Here’s a list of those charities the Pirates supported last year:
